Adam Mitchell

PMHNP, Behavioral Health Lead

Adam has worked in the mental health field since 2015, beginning his career after relocating to Louisville with his family. Adam earned his undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University and completed his master’s degree at Maryville University in St. Louis.

Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Adam served on active duty in the U.S. Army and completed an extended tour in Iraq as a Cavalry Scout (19D).

Adam provides compassionate mental health care to patients of all ages, with a special passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults. He is highly experienced in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and provides comprehensive care for a full range of mental health conditions. Adam also brings valuable experience from community health settings as a prescriber, allowing for a well-rounded and patient-centered approach to care.
