Our homelessness program provides a range of benefits to both individuals and the community. By collaborating with local shelters and support services, we aim to break the cycle of homelessness and create a brighter future for all. When individuals don't have access to medical care, proper nutrition, shelter or clothing it's hard to open your heart to hearing the good news of the gospel by meeting a physical need you are sharing the love of Jesus in a real and tangible way.

Connecting those in need to valuable, life-changing resources
Our Home pillar enables our staff to find housing, provide sustainable meals through our blessings bags and soup kitchen, wheelchair ramps, warming areas, safe spaces, provide basic needs, such as hygiene items, clothing and so much more.
Nutritious Meals for the Homeless
On average the Hometown Connect Soup Kitchen serves about 400 individuals on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are able to provide meals to people of all ages. Those that are disabled or shut-in have hot meals delivered to their doors. Our delivery volunteers visit and pray with these individuals and so many inviduals have expressed how much they value their time with our Connect staff.
Addressing Basic Needs and Supporting the Community
At Hometown Connect, we understand the importance of meeting basic needs for individuals and families in our community. Through our initiatives, we strive to provide support and resources to those experiencing homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, and other challenges. Your support enables our staff to meet people where they are, provide essential needs and share the love of Christ!

Personal & Hygienic Items
We're in need of toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, body wipes, shampoo, body wash, razors, soap, toilet paper, disposable wipes, and hand sanitizer
Non-Perishable Food
Please ensure these are non-perishable. We accept both dry and canned goods.
Thursdays. We are able to provide meals to people of all ages. Those that are disabled/shut-in have hot meals delivered to their door. Our delivery volunteers visit and pray with these Individuals. Many have expressed their gratitude to Hometown Connect Staff for this time spent with them. We are able to sit down and talk to our Soup Kitchen attendees, pray over them, walk them through difficult times and ultimately show them the love of Jesus. We are blessed to work with local community members and volunteers to help support this mission to love our neighbors!
